Recent work (2020–present)

Since 2020 I’ve worked with a variety of software startups and digital product agencies as a technical writer, editor, and developer advocate. I’ve written and edited technical articles, API documentation, blog posts, tutorials, and marketing content of all shapes and sizes.

Past work (2012–2019)

I’ve been writing professionally since 2012. I began my career as a freelance journalist for music and culture publications online and in print, eventually taking on editorial roles at a few different digital media companies from 2013 to 2015.

From 2016 to 2019 I ran The Good Life Revival, a listener-supported podcast dedicated to topics of sustainability, self-reliance, ecology, and homesteading. This project spawned a sister blog called Edible Wild Info in 2017, followed by two books in 2018 and 2019 that coincided with an online tutoring series I created on the botany and taxonomy of wild edible plants.
